Our liquid-filled DRcaps® designed release capsules protect sensitive ingredients against stomach acid, releasing ingredients approximately 45 minutes after a standard gelatin-based capsule¹.

Why choose Capsugel® LEMS® fusion technology?

Liquid-filled formulations in Hypromellose (HPMC) capsules have historically required banding to seal, which brings a higher risk of leakage both during production and on the shelf.

Thanks to proprietary Capsugel® LEMS® fusion technology, our designed release liquid-filled capsules feature a greater seal zone between the capsule’s cap and body, offering greater leak-, clump- and tamper-resistance.

Designed release liquid-filled capsules also protect against humidity for increased product stability and a longer shelf life.
